Yes, as if our B needed his head to be any larger than it already is?! His coach called to see if he would be at the first flag football game because B woud be starting quarterback.
I pass this information along to B in the van. His head immediately begins to swell. "QB, QB, shake your boot-ie!" I have no idea where he heard this! But wherever the origin, he continued to sing this to me in the car. Finally, I demanded that he stop saying it.
We had a conversation about humility and the talent of the other players on his team. Geeze...how do you get them to understand?
They had a great game against the Broncos - who actually won in the last 5 seconds of the game. The boys had a great time though. 5 more games to go!
