October...

Fall is one of my favorite times of the year - spring being the other one. So, I love October. I also turned 36 in October this past year. Mark likes to remind me that I am on the other side of the half-way point of my 30's. While he is still on the other side. Three more months and he will be mid-way to 40. Anyway...fun times in October...

Flag Football:
Not the best photos...but you get the idea

Next up...tailgating at B's school. Most all schools (I think) in this town have a tailgating day. If you don't live in a university town with a football team, this sounds really ridiculous. Just a day to party at school. The toilet paper is an Auburn thing.

E learned to tie her shoes!!!

Pumpkin Carving....and Halloween.........

Our October ended with a stomach virus. E had it first and B rounded it out. He was sick for longer than the rest of us. He went to one house to trick or treat, thinking he felt better and could go. That wasn't the case. In our town, we celebrated Halloween Thursday before Halloween - which fell on a Saturday this past year. Why you might ask? Well in a town where football is really important - there was a high school game on Friday night and the local university played on Saturday. So, Thursday it was. Strange but it worked.
