I purchased a Brighton wallet at Parisian at Phipps Plaza when we lived in Atlanta. Yes, 11 years ago. I have had a couple of people poke fun at my "old" wallet. I guess I just never thought I should buy another one when this one is in perfectly fine shape, right? Well, it met its demise today. The zipper pull & zipper came right off of the wallet. So, I will have to retire this one and finally get another one. I hope the new one will last as long or longer than this one. That would put me well into my 40's before I would have to buy another wallet.

Kellie - I must say to begin with that I am so touched - I can truly say - that I have never had a blog dedicated in my honor - I must also say - I am so impressed with myself for having a friend that actually has enough to say - to have a Blog site. As you are well aware - I have much to say - but none of it is worthy of writing down - recording it for the history books - and even if I did record my wacko thoughts - I can say with great assurance that no one would want to read them.
Because of this honor you have bestowed upon me - I feel that it is my duty now to help you find the most perfect wallet. The 11 years part puts a kink into my search - but for you my friend-- time is no object.
Many things I have taken into consideration as I begin my search - a few of them are as follows: your style.... the durability of the future wallet... of course - the cost...(give me a break - the wallet is for you - cost obviously has to be taken into consideration). And then you have to complicate the search by insisting that no check book be attached.....and I am a little miffed that you make reference to being "well into your 40's" in 11 more years. I take that statement a little personally - because as one who has entered her 40's....well enough said.

OK, the first couple of links do not work. It is as if a few of the letters/numberals are missing at the end.
I lauged at all of them, you are so creative. I even laughed at the final one, the brighton one, the one just for the accountant practical me. I HATE the brighton wallets that have the fake looking textured animal skin on them. Sorry.
Thanks for taking the time to be my personal shopper. If I continue to look at the options you pick for me, I know I will find one that I like and will buy it. But then you would have wasted precious little time that you have to devote to shopping for my life's accessories.
I dropped all of the pennies out of my wallet today as I am still carrying the 11 year old wallet. I thought of you and laughed. I wonder how long I will carry the wallet that will no longer securely hold my pennies???
OH, and I want my own "NEW" wallet. It is so nice of you to offer your Kavu to me, and I really like the print. But, it wouldn't have been mine from the beginning. You know me....the details. Alright - since I know it will be a long agonizing process - - the purchase of a new Kellie wallet -
I will be creating for you a personalized ziploc bag - to hold all of your Pennies...I cannot have my best bud squatting and bending over all around Auburn picking up dropped pennies - I am already embarrassed enough that you are still using that "broke down - heinous - 11 year old -worn out wallet" - when the purchase of the new wallet finally occurs - you may simply discard your personal "coin-loc" carrying bag.
